Brand Introduction
The solitude that the pandemic forced on the world has affected people in many ways. For our business like so many others it provided an opportunity to slow down, take a breath and review what we do, why we do it and work out how we want to move forward. The estate has progressed at a rate of knots over the past 3 years, largely due to the farm shop which was introduced in December 2019. Together with new projects such as ‘the barn’, our multipurpose events venue, the face of Falconhurst has changed and the need for a reformed identity to represent this new Falconhurst was realised.
Cue Ditto. Ditto are a branding and design agency based in Kent near Hadlow. Like us, they are a family run organisation. Hannah, Dan, and Derek seamlessly pull all the strings and together, with assistance from the Falconhurst family, have created this brand that you see today.
The goal and brief to Ditto was to help us create a platform from which the various enterprises on the estate, new and old, can bounce off into the future. Until Ditto came along there was a rather disparate message coming across to our customers and one of the main challenges with this project has been aligning the enterprises on the estate and bringing them all together under one banner. Through a lot of hard work and skill, we feel as though this has been achieved. Whilst Ditto were responsible for most of the brand that you see - the website, logo design and much more, the product would not be what it is without the brilliant work of Michael Jackson, our photographer. Michael is the founder and creative talent behind Saltwick Media. With a certain amount of bias(!), we are of the opinion that Michael’s work is brilliant, and we feel that he has done complete justice to the beautiful scenes and landscapes on the estate. As with Ditto, if you feel in need of some snaps to bring your brand to life, Michael is your man.
All this work means nothing if we can’t do justice to the brand that has been created so now the tough part begins. We have big aspirations, and we look forward to sharing this future with you
