The Woodland Nature Trail

One thing we’ve realised through the shop is how much families enjoy spending time checking out the pigs, goat and sheep. Having thought about how we can offer more entertainment we have decided to introduce a ‘Woodland Nature Trail’

The plan is to utilize the woods that lie around the pond and barn gardens which can be found behind the shop. As kids, we used to spend a lot of time running around this area and therefore it seemed like a natural and glorious opportunity to introduce it to other small (and large!) people.

There will be a few features in the woods and around the pond; we are hoping to have a bird hide so that folk can keep an eye on the pond activity, and there will be a few more surprises install once you get into the woods. There are some great views from the woods that look out onto The Park and then Ashdown Forest in the distance, it’s a really lovely spot

The goal is to have this in action for early Spring so keep your eyes peeled for updates on this, we’re really excited about it.
